This is a New Reproduction, Model 1766 French Charleville 69 Cal. Musket. The Barrel is .69 Cal. 39 1/4". The frizzen throws plenty of good sparks. This Musket would be correct for Reenacting an American Solider, in Washington's Army. Thousands of these Muskets were sold and shipped to America Through a fake company. Rifled bore is very good, two-cock action is crisp/tight, barrel has British proofs, lower left of barrel is stamped 'Edward J. Lorenz 1968'. Incorrect globe front & ladder type rear sights have been added. Blonde wood full stock is very good. Vintage brown leather sling attached. NRA Condition-Very Good+. Antique Firearm.
